It’s another blog post! Yippee!
Today it’ll just be a pretty short one (because I’m zonked) going over how my powerchair demo day went! I was really nervous yesterday and I didn’t get that much sleep because of it, so this morning was an ordeal, but I got an extra hour of sleep because the guy they sent was a bit late.
I wasn’t sure how it was going to go (main reason for my anxiety) but it went really well! The guy - whose name was Greg - brought the chairs out of the van one by one and I got to have a go steering them around my block and up the back lane.

Getting used to the steering was odd but apparently I’m a natural driver, so guess who’s getting a good grade in being disabled: something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve.
The only hard part was getting the chair into the car, but we’re getting a new one and a hoist due to change of circumstances so that might be a null point. Yay Motability!
Anyway, I’m feeling really positive about it, but also completely knackered, so I’m going to go and play some Sims. I started a new ACNH island, too - mostly out of guilt for not talking to my villagers but shhhh - and I am very much looking forward to bending the ecosystem to my will :)
